We are an entrepreneurial couple, whose Apartment Hotel CosyHome offers cozy alternatives to the regular hotels in Jämsä’s Halli.

The company started its operations under the name Jämsän Seudun Tili ja Isännöinti Oy. At that time, Marianne Kunnas owned an accounting firm and at the same time managed properties. CosyHome has been an auxiliary business name from the beginning and we think it describes well the idea of ​​our company’s rental business.

Account and property management tasks were left out, but CosyHome remained as a marketing name for our rental properties. We once saw on television a documentary about a small American town called Placentia. The name was said to mean a “pleasant place to live”. We think it describes Halli well, so we named the company accordingly and now our apartment hotel operates under Placentia Oy.

The stylish and well-equipped apartments are located on or near the shores of freshwater Lake Eväjärvi. Our guests also have access to a private tennis court. In Eväjärvi you can swim, fish, row, ski, skate, or hike. In winter, the sports center offers lit trails and a swimming pool. Basic services and amenities can be found in Halli. The city of Jämsä, ski resorts Himos and Juupavaara, Himos Golf and the Mänttä-Vilppula art city services are a half-hour drive away.
